Dyson Vacuum DC07 Purple Hose # 904125-15, 904125-17, 904125-19, 904125-51; Designed and Engineered by Crucial Vacuum

Could it be that it is better than the original?
Obviously I will need to update the review after I let this hose age a while. It replaces a hose on my 5 year old DC07. My DC07 is a yellow model, but I could care less about the one mismatched colored part.

There are several differences between this and the original part. The handle shaft slides inside of the hose, and the reports for the Chinese made hoses are that the fit is very tight. In this unit, the shaft of the handle slides inside of the hose quite smoothly, better than the original, which was always quite stiff. The hose collar that connects to the handle shaft, or to attachments is different than the original, it has two off-set cams rather than one, I think this is an improved design over my original DC07 hose end, but it is possible that later Dysons also have the dual locking cams, so it may not be unique. The end that connects to the base of the machine housing is slightly different than the original as well, but it is a perfect fit, In fact I think...

Awesome! Just like OEM, works perfect, fits perfect!
I was skeptical at first, as some of the reviews are not so good. But trust me, this hose is amazing! I bought a pink Dyson vacuum at a thrift store for $30, and noticed the hose had a tear, so I bought this one. It snapped right in, an fit perfect. After cleaning out the goldfish crackers clogging up the hose it works perfect! It stretches great, and returns back into the vacuum like it should.

I highly recommend this hose, it is worth it!

Did'nt Need Any Help
The hose was sure an easy fix. Took no time at all. To remove the old one and replace in with the new one took all of 2 minutes and it was a done deal. I did watch a video on youtube so it made all the different in the world. And all on my own and that's saying something.
